Two inch cleats or two inch staples are a minimum. Any longer and you shoot thru the 3/4 more than necessary .At the angle you drive them in at its perfect..GLTypically, how long are the staples or nails used to nail down 3/4'; solid wood flooring?
If it is floor joist's you are nailing into 50mm bullet head nails,if it is ply wood flooring and it is glued down as well you can use (24mm nail's brad gun/T nailer), 30mm bullet head nailsTypically, how long are the staples or nails used to nail down 3/4'; solid wood flooring?
Nails for anything are usually 3X the width of the board held. Exceptions are frequent especially if the receiving wood is too thin.
