My bird has hurt her foot (long nail i think). She keeps pulling her foot up and looks sleepy. I don't know...?

..what to do. Can i cut her nails if they seem too long?It looked like the nail was bleeding. She is a new zealand parakeet(Kakriki). My bird has hurt her foot (long nail i think). She keeps pulling her foot up and looks sleepy. I don't know...?
You must stop the bleeding as birds cannot afford to lose much blood without going into shock. Put some flour or some cornstarch on the nail. If the nail is torn file it with nail file. make sure you have different perches to keep nails down. Or take to vet and have them trim the nails and stop the bleeding. Keep her warm. she sill hold foot up for a few days probably as it is sore.My bird has hurt her foot (long nail i think). She keeps pulling her foot up and looks sleepy. I don't know...?
let it be, if it is bleeding washing it in warm water and put some flour on it to stop bleeding (if it is bleeding heavily)

make sure the whole nail didnt break and let it heal, dont touch it and keep and eye on her. after a few days if it seems ok then you can clip it but be very careful clip the very end and make sure NOT TO clip and VEINS WHICH APPEAR TO BE VERY THIN PURPLE AND RED LINES, its VERY DANGEROUS to clip a vein and can result in death(blood loss) try to get a vet to clip her nails to be safe,
You can trim the birds nails yourself, but you need to be careful and definitely have some styptic powder or gel handy in case of any bleeding.

If the claw is already bleeding, try applying some styptic powder or gel. If this doesn't stop the bleeding, you will need to take your bird to the vet.

Best of luck.
It may be infected. Be VERY careful if you decide to clip it's nails. there is a nerve that goes almost all the way to the tip. It's better to use a diamond file like I do with my Macaw. Take a good look at the toe and see if the nail is split. A crack can admit infection. If there is a split call the vet to see is you can clean it and with what. good luck.
Most birds tuck a foot and stand on the other to sleep.
