Is there any speacial caps for dogs with long nails?

My dog keeps on cutting people with her long nails and we would like to know if there were any speacial covers that we could put on my dogs nailsIs there any speacial caps for dogs with long nails?
Just file them down better.

After we clip Joe's nails, we'll then use the Pedi Paws to file down the rough edges.

BTW: Joe has long ';fingers'; and long nails. Sometimes there is just no way around the long nails. Just work with it.Is there any speacial caps for dogs with long nails?
Yes there are. You can order a catalog from 800-petedge and there are all kinds of supplies that you can order. Including the plastic caps for nails.

You actually need to trim the nails or buy the nail filer (in the same catalog). The dog's nail need to be trimmed, but you have to be very careful. If you cut the ';quick'; of the nail, that hurts the dog and it will bleed. Go to Petsmart and ask one of the groomers how to trim the nails, or just take the dog in to have his nails trimmed by the professionals.
You should have the dogs nails cut, and if they are sharp they can be sanded with a dremel or something, You should really see if that helps first......

Otherwise, if the dog is just jumpy, has inevitable long nails, or scratches things, you can try Soft Paws. They are vinyl caps that you glue over your dogs nails. Here the website;

Just make sure you dont apply them right after the dog has a nail trim. Wait a few days.
Better yet, why don't you have the nails trimmed? If you can't do it yourself, have it done at the Vet or a Groomer. Nails that are too long, can be painful when the dog walks, and can also damage the feet. If this dog has dewclaws, I hope you are checking them. They can actually curl and get ingrown into the dogs foot. I do know that they make cover for cats....not sure about for dogs.
If your dogs nails are long enough to cut someone, they probably need to be clipped. If you can hear them click on the floor, that is a good sign they are too long. You can clip them yourself, being careful not to cut the quick. Vets and groomers will do it for you, usual fee in my area is around $10.
Why not reduce the nail length? At some point it will interfere with her walking and posture and you'll have to shave them back. I Dremel mine every week. They look forward to it (they look forward to the treats I use then).
They are called Soft Claws (or soft paws) the name escapes me at the moment. They are little caps you glue onto your dogs nails and change every few weeks (and trim them too!) They even come in different colors for holidays!
Trim the dogs nails and to keep them short, lots of raod walking on lead as the hard surface then naturally keeps them short
What! Clip the bloody dogs nails...ffs If you can't, take the dog to the Vet.You should not own a dog at all
NO.
